So long Friend
I stare up at the night sky
hoping to see your face
Every since your journey home
all the stars seem right in place
Often I will call out for your hand
for when I may stumble and fall
you will be there to help me stand
The angels gathered over you
and gently opened their wings
Safely they tucked you in
until we meet at the roads end
It is never goodbye with you
But only so long my friend
